Information

I was born and raised in Olympia. I attended Garfield Elementary, Jefferson Middle School and graduated from Olympia High School. I went on to graduate from Central Washington University.

My husband is a retired Air Force Officer; and, for 25 years we lived throughout the United States, and in Taiwan and Germany. I taught, at the elementary level, in public schools in Texas, Nebraska and Wyoming; and taught GED classes, in Maryland.

In 1993, we returned to Olympia. I worked in the Olympia School District as a substitute teacher until 1999 when I began teaching at Madison.
