Hi! I’m Mrs. Martin! I am so excited to have the opportunity to have you in my class this year! I literally can’t wait to get to know you, but for now, here is a little bit about me. I have been teaching in the Olympia School District now for 10 years. 6 of those have been at Madison! I have taught 2nd through 5th grade (5th is my favorite). I have an extensive background in visual arts, along with degrees in Reading, Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I studied at Pacific Lutheran University and completed my college education at Saint Martin’s University!
I have 2 incredibly vibrant, charismatic girls, Emma and Amelia. I have 4 absolutely amazing bonus kiddos, Grace, Gavin, Finn and Declan. I also have a very supportive husband, Mike. We love spending time at the ocean together and going on crazy adventures! I have lived in Washington State since I was in elementary school and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
