2nd GRADE SUPPLY LIST
Backpack or book bag – (No wheels, please)
12 - #2 pencils (Yellow pencils no decorations)
Scissors (Fiskars preferred)
Crayons or colored pencils
Markers (Crayola brand preferred) Basic colors
5 folders with bottom pockets & 3 holes
for papers
1 each of solid red, blue, green, yellow, purple
2 small glue sticks
2 white plastic erasers – (suggested brands are mars, Laserline, Fractis, or
Pentel Hi-polyner)
Supply box (small, no bigger than 5”x8”x2”)
Box of tissue
$1.00 for Organizational Skills folder (may use last year’s folder)
$4.50 for Scholastic News (subscription is for the school year) cash or
Checks (make checks to Madison School)
** Please mark folders, markers, crayons, scissors, & backpack with student’s Name on each item.
The class could also use any of the following items:
Large bottle of hand sanitizer (8 in total)
Box of snack bags
Box of sandwich bags
Large bag of napkins
Marker sets – fluorescent, tropical, bold or ones for dark paper
Crayons- metallic or ones for use on dark paper.
Glitter glue
Kodak color cartridge & photo paper kits for Easyshare cameras
Beads – round, pearl/white about ¼” in size
Beads – oblong, pear/white about 3/4” in size
Bag of small wiggle eyes
Spool of metallic thread (any color)
Special pencils, classroom set – seasonal, weather, birthday or other
