Back To School Supply Lists (Adopt a Class)

Madison is unique in the Olympia School DIstrict in being the only school that does not require families to buy expensive Back to School supplies. We have been able to provide free Back to School supplies to all our students because of generous donations from community members and by some of our Madison families. It has been quite difficult these past couple of years to collect enough donations to actually provide supplies to all students through our Adopt a Class program because of impacts due to Covid and the economy. I am writing to you today to see if you would be able to help support our Adopt a Class program this upcoming 2023-24 school year in one of the following ways:

Preschool at Madison

Did you know that Madison Elementary is offering a FREE preschool program to eligible students? For more information and to get on the waitlist navigate to TK Information or click/scan the QR code below. Hurry, places are filling fast!

Be sure to select "Transitional Kindergarten (TK)" when completing the online form.

End of Year Meds Pick Up

If your student currently has medication at school:

  • All medications must be picked up from the health room by June 22 @ 11:30 am.
  • If your student requires their medication for a life-threatening condition the medication must remain at school until June 22 @ pick up.
  • No medication can be sent home with students. It must be picked up by an adult.
  • Any medication not picked up by June 22 @ 11:30 am will be disposed of per WA state law.

Madison Student Supplies (Adopt a Class)

As many of you know, Madison is the only school in the Olympia School District that provides Back to School supplies at no cost to all our students. We are able to do this by generous contributions in the form of supplies or monetary donations. To get a head start on fundraising for September’s School Supplies, a Madison Wish List has been created on Amazon for community members to browse and select items they wish to purchase for our students. Madison provides school supplies to all new students who enroll throughout the year. You can help provide school supplies for all our new students and also for our Adopt a Class program by checking out the Madison Wish List at http://a.co/8PPiCMC . Please contact the principal if you have any questions about Madison’s Adopt a Class program.
