We are having a Talent Show at Madison on Tuesday, June 18th from 2:00-3:00. Families are invited to attend as well as help out with this event. Students in grades K-5 are encouraged to come up with a performance that is less than 3 minutes. Acts can be solo and small groups. All types of acts are welcome to participate, which includes acting, comedy, magic show, musical numbers, and other performance acts.
This year, we will run the Talent Show without tryouts, so turning in the permission form and working with your child on their act is important for their success. We are trying an open mic style, where we will do a soundcheck on the morning of the event around 9am to make sure all student acts are good to go with any music or materials needed for their performance.
Students that participate in the Talent Show need to rehearse and prepare for their act. Parents should reinforce practicing at home to make sure that their child is prepared for the main event.
