My job is to provide direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math services in individual, and/or small group settings. I do this by using a variety of manipulatives and hands-on activities to support content standards aligned to the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.

Throughout the school year, we identify students' specific needs. I collaborate with each student's classroom teacher and we use student data to determine groups and guide the learning process to support student achievement. Once a student is receiving math intervention, we use formal and informal assessment data to monitor progress toward mastery of OSD’s grade-level math content standards.
